The past couple of weeks have seen a noticeable uptick in buyers looking at homes for sale in Northfield, VT.  Sometimes there's plenty of notice, but sometimes there hasn't.

I want to thank Northfield sellers for rolling with the punches.

  • Dickinson Drive in Northfield Falls had a request to show at 8:00 am, and the showing happened at 11:00 am.  The buyers were impressed.
  • Pleasant Street in Northfield (there are two listings there):  One set of sellers have always made their house very available, even with short notice, and the house always looks great.
  • The other set actually drove around their own house with the kids in the car so a short notice 2nd showing could happen.  I can only imagine the questions dad had to answer...
  • And two more showings of homes for sale on either side of Norwich University on Route 12 made their houses available, and evidently either live a heck of a lot cleaner than I do, or went gonzo with the housekeeping.

So, thanks.  What's the expression that Heidi used?  Guardedly antsy?  Yeah, as sellers, you get to remain guardedly antsy until the buyer gets lassoed.
