I check the MLS every day (actually, a number of times each day) to see what's new, what's had price changes, what's closed.  It's more of a passion than an addiction, but one could quibble, I suppose...

What I found interesting today, as I looked at the numbers in a slightly different way, is that there are 50 homes for sale in Montpelier right now.  50!  It's not much different than the inventory from last year at this point, but it still strikes me.  I mean, come on, 50 homes for sale in Montpelier?  There are only 7000 or so Montpelierites.  That's a word, right?

Now, having said all that, there is still quite a range.  We've got everything from a $50,000 fixer upper on Prospect Street to a million dollar estate on Dyer off Towne Hill.   Lots of places in the 200s and 300s, with the "tails" of the curve in the 100s and 400s.

Nothing but fun!
